The Church of St. Bartholomew in Kolín is one of the most important Gothic buildings in the Czech Republic. Its origins date back to the 13th century, but its current monumental form is the result of a grand reconstruction under Charles IV. The three-aisled basilica with two towers stands out especially for its high choir with rich window tracery and a unique net vault, which is one of the masterpieces of the Parler workshop.
