A unique military bunker from 1937, turned into a museum of Czechoslovak fortifications with authentic equipment and engaging tours.
Bunkr Březinka is one of the best-preserved objects of the Czechoslovak pre-war fortifications, built between 1935 and 1938 to defend against Nazi Germany. It is located in a picturesque landscape near Náchod, on the edge of the Broumovský výběžek, and today serves as a dignified museum that transports visitors to the troubled days before the Munich Agreement.
During a guided tour, you will explore underground spaces, the engine room, the filtration room, and the combat hall, where original armament including heavy machine guns is displayed. The authentic atmosphere is enhanced by period documents, uniforms, and personal items of the crew. The tour lasts about an hour and is suitable for families with children.
The bunker is open from April to October on weekends and holidays, daily in summer. We recommend booking in advance, especially for groups. Nearby, you can also visit other fortress objects, such as the artillery fortress Dobrošov, combining the trip with exploring the rich military history of the region.
