Archeopark Pavlov is a modern museum and archaeological exhibition built directly on the site of one of the most significant mammoth hunter settlements. It is located in the picturesque landscape of Pálava, near the Pavlov Hills and the Nové Mlýny reservoirs. The museum building is sensitively embedded in the terrain, and its architecture evokes the shape of a cave, connecting the present with the ancient past.
Inside, you will find unique exhibits, including original ceramic Venuses and other tools of our ancestors over 25,000 years old. Multimedia installations and interactive features bring to life the daily life, hunting, and rituals of the inhabitants of that time. From the observation terrace, there is a beautiful view of Pálava and the surrounding vineyards.
The archeopark also offers educational programs, workshops, and temporary exhibitions. In the surrounding area, you can walk along educational trails leading to other significant sites, such as Dívčí hrady or Sirotčí hrádek. Parking and refreshments are available right at the site.
