Lake Bled, located at the foot of the Julian Alps in the Gorenjska region, is one of the most famous symbols of Slovenia. For Czech tourists, Bled is easily accessible by car on the highway from the Czech Republic via Austria – the journey from Prague takes about 7 hours. Accommodation ranges from campsites to luxury hotels, but booking in advance is recommended, especially in peak season. Don't forget to taste the local specialty kremšnita – a delicious cream slice originating from the local pastry shop. A visit to Lake Bled is an unforgettable experience all year round, whether you are captivated by the summer atmosphere or winter romance with snow-capped peaks.
