Centrum Nauki Kopernik in Warsaw is one of the most modern science centers in Europe. It opened in 2010 and bears the name of the famous astronomer. On an area of 20,000 m², you will find hundreds of interactive stations divided into thematic zones: from the human body through physical phenomena to robotics and light.
Visitors can try a simulation of an earthquake, build their own bridge, control robots, or explore the secrets of the human brain. It also includes a planetarium with dome projections and laboratories where workshops for children and adults take place. In the evening, the building lights up and offers beautiful views of the Vistula River.
For Czech tourists: we recommend booking tickets online in advance, especially on weekends and holidays. Most exhibits are also described in English. The journey from the city center takes about 20 minutes on foot, or use buses and trams to the Centrum Nauki Kopernik stop. In the neighborhood, there is a modern library and a pleasant riverside promenade with cafes.
